What happens during sedation?
IV Sedation is administered through the vein directly into your bloodstream. Your levels for oxygen, heart rate and blood pressure are contantly monitored during your appointment by registered nurses.
What is the recovery time after sedation?
It is recommended that you refrain from your regular activities or driving for 24 hours after your appointment.
What else do you need to know about sedation?
Do not have anything to eat or drink after midnight before your appointment. You will need to have someone with you to drive you home after your appointment. We will go over all of your questions to ensure you are comfortable before we begin.
